Kirkwood Re-Cycle

My good friend Ben Pass helps run a custom bike shop in Kirkwood. They make custom bikes out of old and used bike parts that are either donated or found. Here he is working on a bike with a large frame for a tall friend.

These bikes are put together as ordered with a lot of thought and work put into them. They always turn out fantastic and their process for putting the bikes together is definitely something to behold. Lots of searching, painting and grinding goes on to get the best bike possible from all the random parts. These guys are bike masters. You may have even seen their bikes cruising around Atlanta and not even noticed.

For more information you can find Ben on Facebook.
and here is the Kirkwood Re-Cycle page on Facebook.

  1. What a wonderful way to combine what you love and work. I will keep you in mind when I have parts to donate. Kudos

  2. I had no idea these bikes were custom-made…your photos give us an inside look at what these guys do. Cool! Can’t wait to make it over there.
